Entry Requirements for All Visitors

All visitors travelling to Singapore must satisfy the following requirements:

 

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months (beyond the last day of their intended stay in Singapore);
  • Confirmed onward/return tickets (where applicable);
  • Sufficient funds to maintain themselves during their stay in Singapore;
  • Visa (where applicable).  Valid visa holders will still need to present valid proof of entry approval (e.g. SafeTravel Pass under Green/Fast lane arrangements, Air Travel Pass, approval letter of entry, etc.) as part of entry requirements;
  • A submitted SG Arrival Card;
  • Entry facilities, including visas if applicable, to their onward destinations

Visa requirements 

 

A visa is a pre-entry requirement for nationals from visa-required countries, and possession of a visa does not guarantee a visitor's entry into Singapore.  Visitors must fulfill other prevailing entry requirements before they can be considered for entry.

 

Visa application is required for citizens / passport holders of the following countries:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Georgia, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, People's Republic of China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen

 

You will also need a visa if you are travelling on:

 

  • Refugee travel documents issued by a Middle East country.  These travel documents are subject to assessment of recognition for entry into Singapore.
  • A Palestinian Authority Passport
  • A temporary passport issued by the United Arab Emirates
  • A Document of Identity issued by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
  • A Travel Permit issued by Macao Special Administrative Region

Incomplete visa applications will be rejected. No reasons will be given in cases where applications are rejected.

Visa applications may be submitted at the Embassy between 8:30 am and 12 noon and collected between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays except public holidays.

 

Fees

 

The visa processing fee is US$22 per visa, irrespective of the type or duration of visa. This fee is non-refundable.

 

Processing Time (excluding the day of submission)

 

Five to seven working days, excluding the day of submission, Cambodian and Singapore public holidays.
