Undergraduate Internship Programme

As an intern in the ASEAN Directorate, my key takeaway was the variety of experiences a Foreign Service Officer (FSO) will obtain throughout their career, and how their assessments will help shape Singapore’s foreign policy responses. I had the opportunity to learn under nurturing FSOs during my internship, who also provided me with a holistic understanding of life in MFA and the demands placed on an FSO. These were useful insights that ultimately led me to decide to join MFA as a full-time staff.”
