    [Revised] Consular Section Opening Hours – COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

    Please note that with effect from Mon, 23 Mar 2020, the Consular Section of the High Commission will be open from 10.30am to 12.30pm, Mondays to Fridays. In view of the COVID-19 situation, and to increase social distancing, regular over the counter consular services will be temporarily ceased, as well as postal passport application. The remaining essential consular service by appointment is - Application of temporary travel document for urgent travel to Singapore i.e. Document of Identity (DOI). Please note you may experience longer than usual processing time for services and/or other enquiries. We seek your understanding and patience during this time.

    New Rules for Entering the UK

    From 8 June 2020, travellers coming to the UK are required to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival, subject to spot-checks at the declared accommodation or residence. Travellers who do not have accommodation to self-isolate would be put up at a government-facility at their own expense. Please see official UK Government announcement and border-control update.

    Electronic Arrival Card (Beta) for Foreign Visitors to Singapore

    The Electronic Arrival Card (Beta) is an e-Service provided by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Singapore to facilitate the electronic submission of arrival information and trip details by foreign visitors. The Electronic Arrival Card (Beta) will eventually replace the paper-based disembarkation/embarkation (D/E) card that foreign visitors are currently required to submit on arrival.
