There are restrictions for travellers to visit some parts of Myanmar. Travellers should check the website of the Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism (https://tourism.gov.mm/) for the updated list of permitted areas in the country.

Singaporeans travelling to Myanmar are strongly advised to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions for their personal safety, including monitoring the local news closely and heeding the instructions of the local authorities. They should also purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance and be familiar with the terms and coverage.

They are also advised to stay in touch with family and friends so that they know you are safe. Singaporeans are also strongly encouraged to e-Register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by clicking on the link, so that we can contact you should the need arise.
