The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revised a number of clauses to the current travel measures applicable to foreign nationals as follows:
Foreign nationals leaving Indonesia on international routes are exempted from producing a COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
Foreign nationals who have to travel within Indonesia to connect to their international flights do not have to produce a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, provided that they:
(i) obtain clearance issued by the local Port Health Office/Authority to travel domestically; and
(ii) produce a valid flight itinerary indicating a direct transit from the city of departure to the port of exit for the international destination. These travellers should not leave the airport during transit and while waiting for their connecting flights.
Foreign nationals under the age of 12 entering Indonesia with their parents or travelling within Indonesia are exempted from producing a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
The Indonesian government has also advised all foreign nationals to postpone non-essential domestic and international travels.
We encourage Singaporeans in Indonesia and those intending to travel to the country to e-Register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg if they have yet to do so.
