The Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong will be closed on Monday, 10 August 2020 in lieu of Singapore’s National Day. The Consulate-General will resume operations on the next working day (Tuesday, 11 August 2020).
To reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19, the Hong Kong Government has started work-from-home arrangements for employees and appealed to members of the public to stay home as far as possible.
Overseas Singapore voters who are eligible to vote at the Overseas Polling Station at the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong on 10 July 2020 would have received their Poll Letter via post and e-Poll Letter via email (if your email was registered with Elections Department Singapore (ELD)). You may also access your ePoll card via the SingPass mobile app by clicking on “Profile”. If you have not received a Poll Letter, you may wish to check your voting status via the ELD website at https://www.eld.gov.sg/online.html using your SingPass. If you have not been registered to cast your vote at the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong, please do not travel to our office as you will be unable to vote here on 10 July 2020.
Announcement: We are aware that there is some confusion regarding visa requirements for HKSAR passport holders entering Singapore. We would like to clarify that HKSAR passport holders do not require visa to enter Singapore.
