This service is if you require certified true copies of documents. The original documents have to be seen and compared with an exact copy of the document. You may bring the documents in person or send them by mail.

Procedure

  1. If you are bringing the documents in person, please contact us and schedule for an appointment (singemb_was@mfa.sg).  All applications submitted in person to the Singapore Embassy in Washington DC will only be accepted between 9.00am to 1.00pm on weekdays on an appointment-only basis.
  2. Please state clearly in your email the number of documents to be certified. If you are applying by mail, please provide a cover note with this information.
  3. On the day itself, please bring the original documents and an exact photocopy of each document to be certified.

Processing Fee

  • US$2.00 for Certification Fee
  • US$2.00 for examining the copy and marking the copy as a true copy.
  • US$1.00 for supply fee - page, if applicable
  • All fees are subject to change without notice.
