With effect from 4 March 2024, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is replacing previous submission for application of the Renunciation of Singapore Permanent Residence via Mission or at ICA Building, with an online application channel. For more details, please visit ICA website at https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/more-information/for-permanent-residents/renunciation-of-permanent-residence for online procedures.

Please note that only existing Singapore Permanent Residents need to apply for PR renunciation.  You are considered to have lost your PR status if you have remained overseas without a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP).  Instead, please request for a verification letter proving that you are no longer a Singapore PR at https://go.gov.sg/verificationofpr.
