THE 14TH MEETING OF THE SINGAPORE JIANGSU COOPERATION COUNCIL ON 18 NOVEMBER 2020

The 14th Singapore-Jiangsu Cooperation Council meeting was held on 18 November 2020 over videoconference. It was a productive and useful meeting co-chaired by Singapore Minister Indranee Rajah and Jiangsu Governor Wu Zhenglong. Both sides reaffirmed the excellent relationship between Singapore and Jiangsu. 2020 also marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between Singapore and China. The meeting covered Singapore and Jiangsu’s cooperation in areas such as professional services, tech and innovation, and biomedical sectors. 11 MOUs were signed and Singapore A*STAR’s Partners Centre in the Suzhou Industrial Park was launched. This is A*STAR’s first overseas office outside Singapore.
