It is a state of enhanced vigilance and security that allows the authorities to employ additional security measures in specific areas affected by the threat. Demonstrations can take place without notice in France. These can occasionally turn violent and disrupt traffic and public transportation. Singaporeans are advised to avoid such protests, heed the instructions of local authorities, and exercise vigilance.
