Entry requirement for all foreigners

Visa application is required for citizens / passport holders of the following countries:


Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Georgia, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Document of Identity), India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Macao Special Administrative Region (Travel Permit), Mali, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China (PRC), Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen

Due to COVID-19, travellers must obtain an approval for entry in order to apply for a visa. Please refer to https://www.ica.gov.sg/covid-19/enteringsg for more information.

Travellers who do not reside in France are advised to submit their visa applications to their nearest Singapore Overseas Mission.


Submission of short-term visa applications to the Singapore Embassy in France


The Embassy accepts visa applications from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm from Monday to Friday. The Embassy’s Consular Service Counter is closed on weekends, French public holidays and the Singapore National Day on 9 August. We regret to inform you that tourist visas are not currently being processed.


Note: if you have a Singaporean Citizen or a Singapore PR who can act as your local sponsor and who has a SingPass account, the local contact can also submit the application online via SAVE.

Documents required

In addition to the documents indicated on the pageof your respective country, please also attach the following documents


  1. Photocopy of your French Titre de Séjour, if applicable;
  2. Photocopy (in A4 size - 1 copy) of your air-tickets and confirmed itinerary;
  3. Booking confirmation from the hotel in Singapore (under the name of the visa applicant);
  4. A local telephone number + e-mail address.
  5. An approval letter for entry issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA), which may be obtained at https://www.ica.gov.sg/covid-19/enteringsg.


Visa applications will be accepted only when all the documents are in order.


Your length of stay in Singapore will be determined on your visit pass which is stamped on your passport upon arrival. For more details, please refer to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority’s website.


Important notice:

- Please note that scanned or unclear photographs will not be accepted.

- Any incomplete form or false declaration will result in the application being delayed or rejected respectively.


Processing time


Visa applications take 10 working days to process from the date of receipt of a complete application. Please note that there is no expedited service.


Visa fees


The visa processing fee for each application is 19 EUR as of 1 January 2021. The default mode of payment is by cash or cheque. The fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.


Collection of visas 


An electronic visa (e-Visa) in PDF format will be conveyed to successful applicants. The e-Visa should be presented to the immigration officer at Singapore checkpoints along with a valid passport.

Other Entry Passes


The Embassy accepts visa applications only for social, tourism or business purposes. Foreign professionals, managers, executives, specialist or entrepreneurs who wish to work in Singapore need to apply for Employment Pass.
