Indian Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid will be visiting Singapore from 23 to 24 October 2013 and will co-chair with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam the Third Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC) Meeting on 24 October 2013. The JMC Meeting is held annually to review the state of bilateral relations between Singapore and India and explore new areas of cooperation.
During his visit, Minister Khurshid will also call on President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen. Minister Khurshid will also be speaking on “Economic Imperatives in India’s Foreign Policy” at an interactive session co-organised by the Indian High Commission, Institute of South Asian Studies and the Singapore Confederation of Indian Industry on the evening of 23 October 2013 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
