SG50 photo-exhibition: “Singapore: The Crossroads of Asia”

01 Sep 2015

The Singapore Embassy, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, organised a photo exhibition from 24 July to 9 August as part of Singapore’s Golden Jubilee celebrations in Russia this year.  The exhibition presented close to 80 photographs of life in Singapore by well-known Russian Travel Photographer Sergey Kovalchuk along Park Muzeon in Moscow. The Embassy also worked with sponsors such as Changi Airport and Singapore Airlines to place additional decorative stars on the lawns of the park which added to the festive SG50 atmosphere at the exhibition.  Reactions from the estimated 300,000 visitors have been very positive with many expressing eagerness to learn more about diversity and uniqueness of Singapore.
