Chinese New Year 2017 Reception for Singaporeans in Hong Kong hosted by Consul-General Foo Teow Lee

Hong Kong, 20 January 2017. With the support from the Overseas Singaporean Unit, the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong organised on Friday, 20 January 2017 a Chinese New Year reception at Chatham Room, Conrad Hong Kong for the local Singaporean community, hosted by CG Foo Teow Lee. CG also took the opportunity to introduce herself as the new CG in Hong Kong and engage with the Singaporean community here.

The event took the form of a buffet dinner featured freshly prepared laksa, kopi and teh by Ya Kun chef from Singapore, as well as other Singaporean and international delicacies. Many Singaporeans stayed throughout that night to mingle with each other and strengthen their bonding with the local Singaporean community!
