Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other International Organisations at Geneva, Umej Bhatia, in his capacity as Chair of the Forum of Small States (FOSS) Geneva Chapter, was honoured to welcome High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet to the Permanent Mission of Singapore on 30 January 2020. Ms Bachelet shared her views with the FOSS about the importance of multilateralism for small state, the need to tackle inequalities, and the importance of maintaining institutional trust.
