The Consular Section in Geneva is located in the same premises as the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Singapore in Geneva.
The Consular Section is open from 8.30am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm from Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.

Getting to the Permanent Mission
Public Transport
a) Take trams 14 or 18 and stop at Balexert, Vernier. Walk south along Avenue du Pailly past the roundabout and continue walking for 200m with the football field on your right. The Permanent Mission will be on your left.
b) Take buses 6, 19, 22 or 51 and stop at Châtelaine, Vernier. Walk towards Avenue du Pailly with the Chatelaine Public School on your right. Turn right on Avenue Du Pailly and continue walking for approximately 400m. The Permanent Mission will be on your right.

Please note that parking is not available at the Permanent Mission. The nearest car parks which are open to the public are located at the following locations within walking distance to the Permanent Mission :

Passport Applicants
The Consular Section processes applications for Singapore passports. Application forms are available at the Mission or can be downloaded from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website.
Singapore Citizenship Application
From 25 October 2018 onward, applications for Singapore Citizenship may be submitted online. To apply online, the Singapore Citizen parent is required to log in to the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) e-service, eSC using his/her SingPass account. More information can be found here. Applicants who are unable to submit online applications may write to ICA Citizenship Unit for assistance at ICA_Citizenship_Unit@ica.gov.sg.
Certificate of Clearance (COC)
The Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department of Singapore Police Force to citizens of Singapore only to certify that a person has no criminal conviction in Singapore. Applicant must show documentary proof from the relevant consulate/immigration authority/government authority which clearly indicates that the production of the COC is required. Notarial and Authentication Services
The Consular Section provides notarial and authentication services.
Any documents not issued by the Singapore Government authorities but which requires notarisation must be referred to a Notary Public first for notarisation. The Notarial Certificate then has to be presented to the proper Swiss authorities where the Notary Public's signature must be verified before presenting it to the Consular Section for the attestation of the signature of the Swiss authorities.
