MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR THE LATE MR LEE KUAN YEW, OUR FOUNDING FATHER AND FIRST PRIME MINISTER – 21 APRIL 2015

Dear Fellow Singaporeans,

 

The Singapore Embassy in Beijing would like to invite you to join us in a memorial service for the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, our Founding Father and First Prime Minister. Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister for Manpower, will be our special guest.

 

Light refreshments will be served after the service. Details of the event are as follows:

 

Date :              Tuesday, 21 April 2015

 

Time :             7.00 pm - 9.00 pm (Registration starts at 6.30 pm)

Dress Code:    Black and/or white preferred

 

The memorial service is open to all Singaporeans and their immediate family. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please email your attendance early to Singapore in Beijing at Lihang@sgmfa.gov.sg the following information:

 

a)      Your family name

b)      Your given name

c)      Your Singapore passport or NRIC number

d)      Your occupation

e)      Your contact number(s) and email address

 

Do note that you will be required to go through security clearance for entry into the event venue.  Please bring along either your Singapore passport or NRIC to facilitate admission.
