Ms Kok Li Peng is Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Singapore to Turkiye.  She assumed post in Ankara on 18 September 2023.

Ms Kok joined the Singapore Foreign Service in 1995. Prior to her current appointment, she served as Singapore’s Permanent Representative to ASEAN from March 2019 to July 2023, and Ambassador to the Philippines from March 2015 to December 2018. She also served as Deputy Permanent Representative in the Permanent Mission of Singapore to the United Nations in New York from September 2008 to January 2012, and First Secretary (Political) in the Singapore Embassy in Washington from February 1999 to February 2002.

Ms Kok was Director-General of the ASEAN Directorate from April 2012 to January 2015. She also served in various capacities on issues related to International Organisations and Southeast Asia.

Ms Kok graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 1994. She obtained a Masters in Arts in Political Science from Columbia University, United States of America in 2006, on a Fulbright Scholarship.

            Ms Kok Li Peng was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2008 and the Long Service Medal in 2021.  She was also appointed to the National Institute of Education (NIE) International Board from 2012 to 2016.
