VISIT BY MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS DR VIVIAN BALAKRISHNAN
TO THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 21 February 2018 to address a closed-door session at the 12th Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Heads of Missions Abroad at the invitation of UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Forum is an annual platform which gathers the UAE’s top diplomats to exchange views on pertinent issues relating to foreign policy, and this is the second year in which foreign speakers have been invited to speak. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah has invited Minister Balakrishnan to speak about Singapore’s perspective on global developments, and the future direction of bilateral relations.
During his visit, Minister Balakrishnan will also hold bilateral meetings with key UAE leaders.
Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
