You are required to be present in-person at the Consulate General for the Consular officer to attest to your signing of the document. You should bring along your valid original identity document and the documents to be signed. The Consulate General will refuse to process documents that are already signed but not in the presence of the Consular Officer. 

Witnessing of Signature for an Affidavit

The Consulate can witness your signing of an Affidavit for use in Singapore. You are required to bring along the following:

  • the affidavit, and any exhibits referred to in the affidavit (documents should be completed but not signed);
  • your valid original identity documents such as passport or NRIC;
  • any other supporting documents

Fees : SGD 4 for each affidavit + SGD 1 for each exhibit to be marked (in equivalent RMB) 

 

Witnessing of Signature for a Statutory Declaration

The Consulate can witness your signing of a statutory declaration for use in Singapore. You are required to bring along the following:

  • the statutory declaration, and any exhibits referred to in the statutory declaration (documents should be completed but not signed);
  • your valid original identity documents such as passport or NRIC;
  • any other supporting documents

Fees : SGD 5 for each statutory declaration + SGD 1 for each exhibit to be marked (in equivalent RMB) 

 

Witnessing of Signature for other Documents (excluding Affidavits and Statutory Declarations)

The Consulate can witness your signing of other documents for use in Singapore, such as a Power of Attorney, CPFB forms, etc. You are required to bring along the following:

  • the documents to be signed (documents should be completed but not signed);
  • your valid original identity documents such as passport or NRIC;
  • any other supporting documents

Fees : SGD 17 for each set of document signed by one party (in equivalent RMB)
