Repatriation of Singapore Residents from Saudi Arabia

24 April 2020

85 Singapore citizens and residents have arrived safely in Singapore this morning from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on a special repatriation flight arranged by the Singapore Government.  This group includes 40 students who are studying in KSA and their dependants.  This flight was arranged as KSA has suspended all scheduled commercial flight services.  The Singapore Embassy in Riyadh and the Singapore Consulate-General in Jeddah coordinated the repatriation and ground operations in KSA for the flight.

The Singapore Government would like to express gratitude to the Saudi government for facilitating the safe return of our Singapore residents.  The returning residents will serve a 14-day self-isolation at dedicated Stay-Home Notice (SHN) facilities upon arrival in Singapore.
