Commercial international flights to Oman will resume from 1 October 2020 although only Omani citizens and residents with valid visas are allowed to enter Oman without prior approval. Travellers to Oman must undertake a PCR test on arrival and possess health insurance that will cover the cost of treating COVID-19 for at least 30 days. They will also be required to register on the Tarassud+ COVID monitoring app prior to their arrival. Foreign nationals entering Oman must show confirmation of their reserved accommodation and pay for their mandatory 14-day stay in institutional quarantine.
