On behalf of Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE), Ambassador Gerard Ho awarded the ASEAN Scholarship for Academic Year 2020 to Filipino students Chadre’ Rafhelle Luna Laus and Stacey Caryl Uy Ngo on 29 October 2019 at the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Manila. Representatives from the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and Education, as well as the family and friends of the two scholars, also attended the ceremony.
The ASEAN Scholarship is offered annually by MOE to outstanding students in ASEAN countries for studies in secondary schools and junior colleges in Singapore. Congratulations again to the two Filipino scholars, and we hope that they enjoy their time in Singapore!
