Entry Requirement for all Foreigners
Hong Kong SAR Passport Holders do not require a visa to enter Singapore for business or social visit purpose for up to 30 days. The visa requirement is only necessary for HKSAR Document of Identity (DOI) holders as HKSAR passports and HKSAR DOIs are different sets of travel documents.
Other foreign nationalities should refer to Singapore Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website to check if you require a valid Singapore visa to travel to Singapore. Possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Please refer to entry requirements on ICA’s website.
A Singapore entry visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. The period of stay granted is not tied to the validity of your visa.
1. Online via Submission of Application for Visa Electronically (SAVE)
You may apply online here through a contact if he/she is a Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old and has a SingPass account. Visa application must be submitted within 30 days prior to your arrival in Singapore, so as to avoid any delay in obtaining a visa for your trip.
2. At any Authorised Visa Agents
Please submit your visa applications through our Authorised Visa Agents (AVAs), with the following documents:
Visa Application Fee
Visa Processing Fee (non-refundable): HK$174 (S$30)
AVA Service Fee: HK$206
Within 3 working days (excluding the day of submission). Some applications may take longer to process. Each visa application will be considered on its own merits.
Collection of Visa
Please collect your visa directly from the AVAs once it is ready for collection. Only e-Visa will be issued, hence there will be no visa sticker affixed to your passport.
Please note that the approved e-visa has to be sighted by the airlines during check-in. Failing to present the e-visa will render the individual being unable to travel to Singapore.
