Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Trade and Industry Koh Poh Koon led the Business China’s Advanced Leaders’ Programme (ALP) delegation comprising senior officials from Singapore’s government agencies, as well as Singapore’s future business leaders in a five-day study visit to Guangdong from 15 - 20 April 2019. With the theme of science & technology and innovation, this year’s ALP aims to learn the latest developments of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. The delegation visited Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Zhuhai to understand the transformation and upgrading of the enterprises in Guangdong. SMS Koh also called on Ouyang Weimin, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, to discuss further cooperation between Singapore and Guangdong, and the future development of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. In addition, the delegation also has a networking session with NTU Alumni in Guangdong.
