COC is issued for immigration-related purposes only and is required for immigration to some countries. The Singapore Police Force (SPF) will be introducing a new eService which allows applicants to submit online Certificate of Clearance (COC) applications with effect from Tuesday, 21 June 2016.

Application submission and payment via credit/debit card or I-Banking can be done through the SPF eServices webpage Certificate of Clearance (COC).

Access to the eService will require a login via Singpass for Singaporeans and via Foreign Identification Number (FIN) and passport number for foreigners. Successful applicants will be notified by email/SMS to book their fingerprint appointment. Applicants would have to call or email the Singapore Consulate-General in Dubai, to schedule an appointment.

With the introduction of this eService, walk-in COC applications at the Police Cantonment Complex will be discontinued. For enquiries, applicants may contact the COC Office at +65 6435 8277 between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm from Mondays to Fridays, excluding Public Holidays, or via email at spf_coc_office@spf.gov.sg.
