INFORMATION ON VISA APPLICATION

 

Disclaimer: Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore. You must also meet the entry requirements as stated at https://www.ica.gov.sg/enteringanddeparting/entry_requirementsThe grant of an immigration pass to you will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your passport and it is not tied to the validity of this visa. Please check your passport for the arrival endorsement and take note of the period of stay granted before leaving the checkpoint. Travellers must submit their arrival information, including their health declaration, using the SG Arrival Card e-Service (https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard ), up to three (3) days before their entry into Singapore.

 

LIST OF COUNTRIES AND REGIONS THAT REQUIRE VISA

 

If your travel document is issued by one of the countries or regions below, you will need a visa to enter Singapore:

 

Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Georgia, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Document of Identity), India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Macao Special Administrative Region (Travel Permit), Mali, Morocco, Moldova, Nigeria, Pakistan, People's Republic of China (PRC), Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Yemen

 

You will also need a visa if you are a holder of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates or Refugee Travel Document issued by a Middle East country. Please note that these travel documents are subject to assessment of recognition for entry into Singapore.

 

Documents required (blank forms downloaded from https://www.ica.gov.sg/)

 

  1. Duly completed Form 14A signed by you;
  2. Your recent passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last three months.  Please see Photo Guidelines for information on photo requirements;
  3. Copy of air ticket showing flight itinerary to and from Singapore;
  4. Copy of your passport biodata page (valid for at least six months from the date of your entry into Singapore) and a copy of your Resident Permit;
  5. A completed Form V39A (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application (LOI))*, which may be issued by a local contact** in Singapore.
  6. Applicant’s contact details (Phone number, e-mail)

 

Additional supporting documents may be required on a case-by-case basis.

 

Please note that we do not accept applications more than one month prior to applicant's arrival in Singapore.

 

*Please visit ICA’s website (https://www.ica.gov.sg/enteranddeparting/before/entryvisa) to check if this is a required document for your specific country/region.

 

**The local contact must be either a Singapore Citizen (SC) or a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass/CorpPass account.  If you are applying for an entry visa for business visit (attending business negotiations or discussions), the local contact must be acting on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity.  LOIs issued by your Embassy can also be accepted, if you are unable to secure an LOI from a local contact to support your visa application for social and business visits.

 

Fees

 

A fee of EUR 22/- per visa will be charged, and the payment is required at the time of submission. The fee is not refundable.  Please contact the Embassy by email (consvc@mfa.sg and singembbruconsv@gmail.com) for the payment method.

 

Procedure

 

The application can be submitted by the following methods:

 

  • Online via Submission of Application for Visa Electronically (SAVE) through a Singapore contact if he/she is a Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old and has a SingPass account.
  • By post or courier (Please do not send original passport by post or courier. The Embassy is not liable for any loss of documents sent through post or courier).
  • In person. Appointments must be made in advance by emailing to consvc@mfa.sg and singembbruconsv@gmail.comAppointments can be made from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.

The processing of visa applications would take approximately 1-2 weeks after the date of receipt of complete applications. Some applications may take longer if more verification of information is required by immigration authorities in Singapore. Applicants should therefore give allowance for time taken to process (and possible postal delay) when setting their intended dates of departure. There is no express facility to expedite the visa application process.

 

The visa will be issued electronically.

 

Visa Free Transit Facilities

 

Nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States, India, The People’s Republic of China (PRC), Turkmenistan and Ukraine may be eligible for the Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF).
