Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development, Sim Ann will visit Doha, Qatar from 5 to 7 March 2023 to attend the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5).
SMS Sim will deliver Singapore’s national statement at the general debate to express Singapore’s commitment to supporting the LDCs in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through concrete and collective action.
SMS Sim will also speak at the Ministerial Meeting on South-South Cooperation and the High-Level Panel Discussion on “Investment in Research and Development in LDCs for Smart and Innovative Societies”. She will have various bilateral meetings on the sidelines of LDC5.
SMS Sim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
