Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman to Batam, Republic of Indonesia, 15 August 2019

        Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman will visit Batam in Riau Islands (KEPRI) Province on 15 August 2019.

 

        This visit is part of Singapore’s continued efforts to expand our long-standing cooperation and strengthen ties with KEPRI. During the visit, SMS Maliki will call on Acting KEPRI Governor H Isdianto and host Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi to lunch.  SMS Maliki will also meet BP Batam Chairman Edy Putra Irawady and business personalities in Batam. 

 

        In addition, SMS Maliki will attend the Singapore National Day Reception hosted by the Singapore Consulate-General in Batam.  

 

        SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
