The First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign
and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK), Rt Hon William
Hague MP, is making an official visit to Singapore from 25 - 26 April
2012 at the invitation of Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs and
Minister for Transport Mr Lui Tuck Yew. Mr Hague will be accompanied
by senior officials from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This
is Mr Hague's first official visit to Singapore.
On 26 April 2012, Mr Hague will pay courtesy calls on Prime
Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Lui. Minister Lui will also
host an official lunch in honour of Mr Hague. Mr Hague will deliver
the 2nd Fullerton Lecture organised by the International Institute of
Strategic Studies on the topic, "Britain in Asia".
