MFA Spokesman's Comments in response to media queries on the exchange of fire between Thai and Cambodia troops at the Thai-Cambodia border

MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SPOKESMAN'S COMMENTS

In response to media queries on the exchange of fire between Thai and Cambodia troops at the Thai-Cambodia border, the MFA spokesman said:

"We are very disturbed by the turn of events and reiterate our call for both parties to exercise utmost restraint in the broader interests of the region. We urge both sides to resolve their differences through further negotiations."
