The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia the Honourable Kevin Rudd will make an official visit to Singapore on 12 August 2008 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Prime Minister Rudd will be accompanied by senior officials.
This will be the first official visit to Singapore by the Honourable Kevin Rudd in his capacity as Prime Minister. While in Singapore, Prime Minister Rudd will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and meet with Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Prime Minister Lee will host Prime Minister Rudd and his delegation to an official lunch. In addition, Prime Minister Rudd will deliver the 29th Singapore Lecture entitled "Australia, Singapore, Our Region and the World" during his visit to Singapore.
