MFA Press Statement: Meeting Between Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Chief Executive Donald Tsang of the Hong Kong Special Administrative

Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew met with Chief Executive Donald Tsang of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the Istana on 16 May 2008. Chief Executive Tsang briefed Mr Lee on Hong Kong's economic and political developments. Both sides also exchanged views on the progress of bilateral relations and key regional developments. Mr Lee and Chief Executive Tsang last met in July 2006 during Chief Executive Tsang's private visit to Singapore.
