MFA Spokesman's Comments on the Situation in Fiji

In response to media queries on the recent developments in Fiji, the MFA Spokesman said:

"Singapore is very concerned about the recent developments in Fiji. It is a retrograde step that will adversely affect Fiji's standing within the Commonwealth and the international community. We hope that constitutional government will be peacefully restored as soon as possible."
