Registration of Overseas Electors

The revised Registers of Electors are available for public inspection from 20 June 2017 to 3 July 2017.


Overseas Singaporeans, whose names are listed in the Registers of Electors and have resided in Singapore for an aggregate of at least 30 days during the 3-year period between 1 June 2014 and 31 May 2017, may also continue to register as overseas electors to vote at one of the designated overseas polling stations.


With the revision of the Registers of Electors, overseas Singaporeans who had registered earlier as overseas electors will need to re-register if they meet the qualifying criteria as of 1 June 2017 and wish to remain as overseas electors.  Overseas Singaporeans are encouraged to register early via the following modes:

You may apply online via the eServices available at Elections Department using your SingPass.


By Post/Fax/Email

If you do not have a SingPass, you may apply for registration by submitting a completed and signed Application to be Overseas Electors Form by post, fax or email to the Elections Department or the the Singapore Embassy in Washington DC, or any of the Consulates in San Francisco and New York.  Alternatively, you may also submit the form in person at any of the above centres.
