Overseas Singapore voters who are eligible to vote at the Overseas Polling Station at the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong on 10 July 2020 would have received their Poll Letter via post and e-Poll Letter via email (if your email was registered with Elections Department Singapore (ELD)). You may also access your ePoll card via the SingPass mobile app by clicking on “Profile”.


If you have not received a Poll Letter, you may wish to check your voting status via the ELD website at https://www.eld.gov.sg/online.html using your SingPass. If you have not been registered to cast your vote at the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong, please do not travel to our office as you will be unable to vote here on 10 July 2020.


Admin Instructions

  • There will be crowd control as the Singapore Consulate-General is located in a commercial building. Please refer to the floorplan below on how to arrive at the designated queue on the 1st floor of Admiralty Centre Tower 1.
  • Only voters are allowed to enter the OPS. There will be security checks and temperature screening prior to entering the OPS. All voters must wear a mask before being allowed into the OPS.
  • As Polling Day is on a work day (10 July 2020), please be prepared for a longer waiting time in the morning before working hours, during lunch hour and in the evening after working hours.
  • Polling will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm (Hong Kong time) and the ballot box will be sealed at 8.00pm sharp. Please cater time for queuing and registration, in order to cast your vote by 8.00pm.
  • On Polling Day, please bring along your original NRIC / passport, as well as the hardcopy Poll Letter or e-Poll Letter.
  • If you are unwell (temperature above 37.5 degrees celcius), you are advised not to travel to the polling station, and reminded to abide by the local laws and regulations, including movement restrictions on unwell persons due to COVID-19.
  • If you still want to vote and can abide by local laws and regulations, you may only vote from 7pm to 8pm, after the main body of voters has been cleared. If you turn up at the polling station before 7pm, you will be turned away and asked to return between 7pm and 8pm.
