Local Laws
Jordan is a conservative society. Dress and behave modestly. Alcohol can be consumed in bars, restaurants, and hotels, but not on the streets. Intoxication is an offence.
Unmarried couples should be aware that sharing accommodation is generally seen as socially unacceptable.
