While Singaporeans are advised to defer travel to the region, those who intend to travel to or currently reside in Israel are advised to remain vigilant, monitor local developments closely, and adhere to the guidelines of the Israeli Home Front Command as there could be sudden changes in the security situation.
Singaporeans should continue to avoid all travel to Israel’s borders with the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Syria. They should also avoid areas known for public disturbances or where large crowds congregate, including in the Old City, East Jerusalem, and Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount. Singaporeans should also avoid all travel to the Gaza Strip, and non-essential travel to the West Bank, including Bethlehem, Jericho, and Ramallah. They should take all necessary precautions for personal safety including monitoring the local news and heeding the instructions of the local authorities. They are also encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance, and be familiar with the terms and coverage. While commercial airlines to and from Israel remain operational, Singaporeans should be prepared for the possibility of sudden flight and travel disruptions.
Should you require mental health support due to the current situation, you may contact the Singapore’s national mental health helpline and textline service, national mindline 1771 via:

Travellers entering or exiting Israel through all other border crossings may refer to this Israeli government link pertaining to the applicable requirements.
As these requirements may change at short notice, travellers are encouraged to keep up to date with the requirements, make the necessary arrangements and consult the relevant Israeli government authorities for clarifications.
* Funds refer to cash and cash-equivalents such as bills, gold, bank cheques, travellers’ cheques, bearer securities, negotiable instruments and payment cards
Safety and Security
While tourist areas in Israel are generally safe, there have been instances of petty crime such as theft. Be aware of your surroundings and watch your belongings at all times.
Monitor the news and avoid large political demonstrations and public gatherings where possible due to the higher risk of violent incidents.
The security situation in areas bordering Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip is volatile. Rocket fire, shootings, and bombings have been reported. Travellers should note that border crossings, particularly those with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, may be closed without warning for an extended period of time.
