According to the Ordinance No. 255, approved by the government of Georgia citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Singapore may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for 1 (one) full year.
As immigration requirements can change at short notice, travellers are advised to contact their travel agent or visit Georgia MFA’s visa information website for the latest information.
Safety and Security
Singaporeans travelling or living in Georgia should exercise a high degree of caution and take all necessary precautions to ensure their personal safety, including purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. Visitors should be particularly vigilant in crowded areas and tourist hotspots, and keep their valuables secure at all times.
Singaporeans should be aware that political demonstrations and public gatherings may occur, especially in central areas of Tbilisi, and can lead to traffic disruptions and occasional confrontations. Travellers are advised to avoid demonstration areas, monitor local developments closely, and follow the instructions of the local authorities.
Local Laws
Singaporeans in Georgia are subject to local laws and regulations. Penalties for drug-related offences in Georgia can be severe. Travellers should avoid carrying prohibited substances and should exercise caution when bringing medications into Georgia.
Travellers should also avoid photographing sensitive sites such as military installations and critical infrastructure.
Those using unmanned aircraft systems (e.g. drones) should familiarise themselves with local requirements and comply with any registration or operational restrictions imposed by the Georgian authorities.
