Travel Notice for Peru

As of 27 February 2025, 157 districts in 20 regions are under a state of emergency due to the danger and damage caused by heavy rains, landslides, and flooding. In view of this, Singaporeans are advised to exercise a high degree of caution when visiting Peru, and to take all necessary precautions for their personal safety, including monitoring the local news and heeding the instructions of local authorities.
Singaporeans are encouraged to eRegister with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg so that we can contact you should the need arise. Travellers should purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance and be familiar with the terms and coverage.
