NAM and G77

Non-Aligned Movement and Group of 77

OVERVIEW

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and Group of 77 (G77) are platforms for developing countries to voice their concerns and cooperate on issues of mutual interest. Singapore is an active member of the G77, and works closely with other members on issues such as overcoming challenges in pursuing sustainable development.

RECENT HIGHLIGHTS

Then-Senior Minister of State (Defence) (Foreign Affairs) Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman led Singapore’s delegation to the XVIII NAM Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan from 25 to 26 October 2019.
