While Singaporeans are advised to defer travel to the region, those who intend to travel to or currently reside in Israel are advised to remain vigilant, monitor local developments closely, and adhere to the guidelines of the Israeli Home Front Command as there could be sudden changes in the security situation.
Singaporeans should continue to avoid all travel to Israel’s borders with the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Syria. They should also avoid areas known for public disturbances or where large crowds congregate, including in the Old City, East Jerusalem, and Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount. Singaporeans should also avoid all travel to the Gaza Strip, and non-essential travel to the West Bank, including Bethlehem, Jericho, and Ramallah. They should take all necessary precautions for personal safety including monitoring the local news and heeding the instructions of the local authorities. They are also encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance, and be familiar with the terms and coverage. While commercial airlines to and from Israel remain operational, Singaporeans should be prepared for the possibility of sudden flight and travel disruptions.
Should you require mental health support due to the current situation, you may contact the Singapore’s national mental health helpline and textline service, national mindline 1771 via:

Safety and Security
The security situation in areas bordering the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is volatile. Rocket fire, shootings, and bombings have been reported. Travellers should note that border crossings, particularly those with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, may be closed without warnings for an extended period of time.
Monitor the news and avoid large political demonstrations and public gatherings where possible due to the higher risk of violent incidents.
Local Laws
Tourists should respect local sensitivities, and dress and behave accordingly especially during the holy month of Ramadan or if intending to visit religious areas. Drug offences carry heavy penalties, including lengthy prison sentences, large fines, and the death penalty.
Identification must be presented on request. Always carry a copy of your passport and entry card with you.
