Singaporeans are strongly advised to take all necessary precautions for their personal safety, including monitoring the local news and heeding the advice and instructions of the local authorities. Those travelling to the Kyrgyz Republic-Tajikistan border areas should exercise vigilance.

Singapore has no diplomatic presence in the Kyrgyz Republic, which constrains our ability to extend consular assistance in an emergency. Singaporeans travelling to the Kyrgyz Republic/Tajikistan are encouraged to e-register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg/ so that they can be contacted should the need arise. They should also purchase comprehensive travel insurance and familiarise themselves with the terms and coverage.

Entry and Exit

Singapore citizens can seek entry to the Kyrgyz Republic without a visa and stay there without obtaining any stay-permitting documents, for stays up to a total period of up to 30 calendar days within every 60-day period from the date of entry into the country. This exemption does not apply to travellers entering the Kyrgyz Republic for the purpose of employment, education, or other activities requiring special authorization documents.

As entry and immigration requirements may change at short notice, we advise you to contact your travel agency or the nearest Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to ensure that you have accurate information for your specific purpose prior to departure.
