Working Visit of Vice President and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Botswana Ndaba Gaolathe, 14 September 2026

Botswana Vice President and Minister of Finance Ndaba Gaolathe is on a working visit to Singapore.

Vice President Gaolathe met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister-in-charge of the Public Service and Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing.

During the meetings, they reaffirmed the warm and friendly relations between Singapore and Botswana. They agreed that there was scope to enhance bilateral and regional cooperation in trade and investment. They also discussed workforce upskilling, investment promotion, economic diversification, and public sector training.

Vice President Gaolathe departs Singapore today.
