Working Visit of Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry Gan Siow Huang to Iceland, 8 to 10 October 2026

Minister of State (MOS) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry Gan Siow Huang will visit Reykjavík, Iceland from 8 to 10 October 2026 to attend the 2026 Arctic Circle Assembly (ACA) at the invitation of Chairman of the Arctic Circle Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.

MOS Gan will speak at the opening day plenary on a panel titled “Melting Poles: Perspectives from India & Singapore”. She will meet with government ministers and officials from Arctic Council States and Observer States.

MOS Gan will be accompanied by Special Envoy for Arctic Affairs Sam Tan and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
