Working Visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan to San Francisco, USA, 14 to 16 July 2026

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make a working visit to San Francisco, USA, from 14 to 16 July 2026.


Minister Balakrishnan will meet Mayor of San Francisco Daniel Lurie to strengthen links between Singapore and San Francisco. Minister Balakrishnan will also meet business leaders from US technology and venture capital firms to discuss technology developments, their geopolitical implications, and how Singapore and the US can further strengthen our longstanding technology and business cooperation.


In addition, Minister Balakrishnan will meet Singaporeans working in the tech sector in San Francisco and the Bay Area.


Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
