Visit by the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia, Pramono Anung, Under the RISING Fellowship, 14 to 15 June 2026

Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Pramono Anung Wibowo will visit Singapore under the RISING Fellowship from 14 to 15 June 2026, at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.

Governor Pramono will call on Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong. He will be hosted to tea by Minister Balakrishnan and meet Minister for National Development Chee Hong Tat.

Governor Pramono will also attend the World Cities Summit (WCS) 2026, and participate in the signing ceremony for an arrangement between the Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development, and the government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta regarding collaboration on knowledge sharing, capacity building, and research.

The RISING (Republic of Indonesia + Singapore) Fellowship is a flagship bilateral platform designed to strengthen relationships between leaders from Singapore and Indonesia’s regions. It was launched at the 2018 Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat by then-Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and then-President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
