MFA SPOKESMAN'S COMMENTS
In response to media queries for an update on the boat that capsized en route from Sibu to Mersing in Malaysia, the MFA Spokesman said:
"The bodies of the three Singaporeans who died have been identified by their family members early this morning. They are: Mr Adrian Tan Kook Yong, Mr Chua Lim Khoon and Ms Low Li Jun. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Consulate-General in Johor Baru will assist in the repatriation of the bodies to Singapore. "
