State Visit by President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda to Singapore, 11 to 13 June 2025

President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda is in Singapore for a State Visit. President Duda received a ceremonial welcome at Parliament House this afternoon and called on President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

President Tharman and President Duda discussed the significant potential growth in ties between Singapore and Poland, particularly in port and logistics development, and agri-food exports to Singapore, as well as in sustainable energy, digital trade, research and development and education. The leaders encouraged businesses to explore investment opportunities in each other's countries. They also discussed global geopolitical and security developments. President Tharman will host a State Banquet in honour of President Duda this evening.

President Duda and First Lady Kornhauser-Duda also visited the National Orchid Garden, where a new orchid hybrid, the Dendrobium Andrzej and Agata Duda was named in their honour.
