Visit by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, 12 to 13 November 2025

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, visited Singapore from 12 to 13 November 2025.

On 12 November, The Princess Royal called on President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the Istana. During their meeting, they reaffirmed the longstanding and multifaceted relationship between Singapore and the United Kingdom, including strong people-to-people ties. They also discussed issues relating to sustainability, biodiversity, education and skills development.

On 13 November, The Princess Royal called on Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong at the Istana. They welcomed the commemoration of the 60^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the United Kingdom this year. They reaffirmed our strong cooperation across a range of sectors, including in trade, defence and security. The Princess Royal and Prime Minister Wong also exchanged views on how to deepen collaboration between our countries in emerging areas such as innovation, AI, cybersecurity, and research and development. 

The Princess Royal also attended an orchid naming ceremony at the Botanic Gardens on 12 November, where a new orchid hybrid Dendrobium Anne was named in her honour.
